Christen Harper has been a constant presence by Jared Goff’s side since they first met in 2019 via the dating app Raya. She has been fieldside at his games with the Detroit Lions and seen all sorts of highs and lows.
For Thursday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, the SI Swimsuit model donned a dark blue jacket with a “D” on the left side over a light gray crop top, wide-legged jeans and black leather pointed shoes while holding a small light blue bag:
The Lions won the game 34-31 via a buzzer-beating field goal by Jake Bates, clinching the NFC’s first playoff spot.
In June, Christen Harper married Jared Goff in California. They have been busy with their respective professions but could soon start a family. In September on The Morning After, the podcast of Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly, Harper said:
“I’m eventually going have kids running around and stuff. I might not have the time to do this, and then maybe I’ll need to support other ways. But, I don’t want people to feel bad, because I have a lot of time on my hands to do this.”
She also hailed the passion of Lions fans:
“I think for us, when we first moved here, we were so shocked that the stadium was almost, I think, close to sold out, when we were really not good the first year.
“I was like, that’s amazing. I don’t know a lot of places that would do that, where they still show up on a Sunday knowing that they might lose. That takes a lot.”
Getting to see what fall really looks like, being from California and its sunnier environment, Christen Harper added:
“I just didn’t know what fall was, I guess, until I moved here. But, I’m genuinely like, oh, I can’t wait for the leaves to change and go to an apple orchard.”
The next game for Goff, Harper and the Lions is at home – December 15 against fellow division winner Buffalo Bills.
