The Inter Miami striker and his wife are in their hometown of Rosario, Argentina, for the Christmas and New Year holidays. While on vacation, Messi is still working out at the gym to stay fit. On Instagram Story on December 27, he posted a mirror selfie with his wife at the gym in their hometown. Messi is shirtless, wearing shorts with the Argentina logo printed on them, and has a toned abdomen. Goal newspaper commented that Messi’s body is currently “the most beautiful of his career.” The forward, born in 1987, has often posted photos in the gym with his wife, but this is the first time outside of Miami, according to Infobae . Sports Illustrated believes that Messi is still working hard to stay in good physical shape and ready for the new MLS season.
Last month, the Argentine superstar was spotted working out with famous PT expert Bret Contreras. His wife Antonela is also a client of this coach.
The last time Messi played on the pitch was in Argentina’s 1-0 win over Brazil on November 22.
