Dallas Cowboys star Trevon Diggs has become a father to his third child and has welcomed his first child with ex-girlfriend Joie Chavis. On Monday, Chavis announced the birth of their first daughter together through an Instagram story.
Joie Chavis shared a clip of the combined reactions of her family members and friends to share the good news. The clip also featured the reaction of Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, who’s Chavis’ close friend. In the caption, Chavis wrote:
Last month, Trevon Diggs celebrated Joie Chavis’ baby shower, during which the Cowboys star gifted ex-girlfriend a luxurious watch. Later, the social media influencer shared a recap from her baby shower on Instagram.
“Yesterday, we celebrated baby girl to the fullest. We had a time, ok! Thank you so much to my friend @heathersanders_ for putting this shower together for me 🥹 you really outdid yourself, and it all came together so beautifully! Thank you @iamkaylanicole for hosting, you killed it and kept it so fun. Love yall,” Chavis captioned the post.
Trevon Diggs and Joie Chavis have been dating since 2022 and announced their breakup a few months after revealing their pregnancy. The confirmation regarding the couple’s separation came from Chavis.
In March, Joie Chavis announced her pregnancy via an Instagram post. Five months after breaking the news, Chavis revealed partying ways with Trevon Diggs, however, in an indirect manner. When a fan commented:
“Just wondering, are the [couple] together still? No shade whatsoever, especially from someone like me?”
“No, we aren’t. I think that’s obvious,” Joie Chavis replied, confirming the break up with the Cowboys star.
Apart from a daughter with Diggs, Chavis has kids with rapper Future and Bow Wow. As for the Cowboys cornerback, he’s father to son Aiden with ex-girlfriend Yasmine Lopez and Chosen with a woman who remains unidentified.
The couple are yet to make any official statement about the baby daughter. Besides, now that the regular season is almost here, Diggs would have limited time to spend with his newborn daughter.
